About the role:
We are a modern agile product organization seeking an exceptionalSoftwareEngineer for our ad server platform. Our platform manages tens of thousands of requests per second with sub-second response times serving users across the globe. We deliver advertisements for some of the worlds largest live events while providing real-time reports and forecasts generated from billions of log entries. These challenges make development and operational work at INVIDI both demanding and rewarding. To achieve these goals weleveragethe best frameworks and tools available or when necessary build our own. Our core tech stack includes Java and Kotlinpredominantly usingDropwizard. Additionally we employ technologies such as Kafka Google Cloud (GKE Cloud SQLBigTable Pub/Sub) AWS Terraform and more. We are constantly exploring new tools tomaintainand improve our platforms robustness and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain deploy andoperatebackend services in Java and Kotlin that are scalabledurable and performant
- Proactively evolve deployment pipelines and artifact generation
- Demonstrate a commitment to Kubernetes and infrastructure maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues from support teams and clients
- Collaborate closely with peers and product owners in your team
You must have:
- Bachelor /Mastersdegree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong development and troubleshooting skill sets
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work well in an Agile environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to quickly learnnew technologiesand work in afast-pacedenvironment
- 4-6years of development experience in relevant languages (Java Kotlin)
- DevOps/IaC: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with GCP and AWS and their cloud services
- Proven ability to rapidly absorb and navigate complex undocumented systems.
Physical Requirements:
- INVIDI is a conscious clean well-organized and supportive office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are normal.
It would bevery goodif you have experience in:
- Experience inAdtech
- Experience with streaming data technologies like Apache Kafka or Cloud Pub/Sub.
