The Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services
The Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services (OFMS) Fiscal Services Division is responsible for developing implementing and monitoring all the Agencys budget activities. This encompasses the biennial budget process annual budget implementation and projecting federal budget estimates. The Division is also responsible for the management of the Agencys revenue disbursements and financial obligations as well as performing daily federal cash draws reconciles and reports on federal grant status. What You Will Do
The Senior Financial Manager serves as Chief of the Bureau of Fiscal Planning and Operations and works closely with the Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) and Assistant Chief Fiscal Officer (ACFO) in OFMS. This position helps define the agencys fiscal goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Extensive experience in public finance budget development and implementation cost allocation and overall fiscal management.
Ability to plan develop and carry out largescale fiscal analyses and projects.
Understanding both program and fiscal processes.
Managing expectations across multiple stakeholders.
Potential Challenges
This role requires flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of ODJFS senior leadership and OFMS leadership. The ideal candidate can produce detailed fiscal analysis under tight deadlines manage multiple projects at once and remain effective in highpressure situations through strong prioritization.
Schedule: Full-time.
Hours: Workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios E1 Pay Schedule Pay Range 16. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $47.50 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
