Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welders Level I II III. The Pressure Vessel Welder will be responsible for working from shop drawing procedures or other written verbal or electronic instruction perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product sub-assemblies and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations.

This role is located in Delaware OH and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $27.23/hr. with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday (6:00am-4:30pm)

Pay Schedule: Biweekly

Responsibilities

Pressure Vessel Welder Responsibilities:

  • Follow the production orders prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
  • Execute welds in accordance with companys procedures and documents while meeting defined quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
  • Identify and implement safety improvements.

Pressure Vessel Welder-Level IQualifications:

  • At least 1-3 year(s) experience or commensurate education from trade school.
  • Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe but not yet certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS read drawings.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical organized and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.

Pressure Vessel Welder-Level IIQualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
  • Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS read drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to fitting and welding components.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical organized and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.

Pressure Vessel Welder-Level IIIQualifications:

  • At least 5 years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified experience).
  • Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS read drawings and teach others to do so.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fitting and welding components.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical organized and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
