Whats the Role:

As a Service Owner you will be working with key business stakeholders and Agile development teams and managing the value delivered by the team and ensuring that it aligns with the overall Service strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Data Platform and related Services.
  • Maintain a vision for the Service and communicate it to the stakeholders and projectteams.
  • Based on the latest Cloud and data platforms technologies manage the operational requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs.
  • Manage service risks and issues and lead the team and work with stakeholders to improve operations maturity
  • Understanding of how service integrates with others and support others managing a portfolio of applications and services in line with the broader business and GroupTech strategies.
  • Accountable for quality of system health and related activities such as problem management.
  • Using DevSecOps and automation to deliver the benefits of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

What do I need

  • Experience leading Production Operations (Level 3) services including service maturity and continual improvement initiatives
  • Experience working in an Agile environment ideally as a Technology Service Owner or L3 Support Service Owner
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms across IaaS PaaS and SaaS including Azure-based data platforms
  • Hands-on and architectural experience with Snowflake Databricks and Python-based data engineering frameworks
  • Proven experience delivering legacy-to-cloud data migrations and platform modernisation
  • Experience operating within large complex organisations including stakeholder vendor and team management
  • Knowledge of data governance security compliance and ITIL-based service management
