Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a First-Year Student Academic Success Coordinator - Boca Raton FL.
The First-Year Student Academic Success Coordinator plays a key role in advancing first-year student engagement with academic support resources offered through the Center for Teaching and Learning. Reporting to the Associate Director of CLASS and eSuccess the Coordinator leads innovative outreach efforts facilitates high-impact presentations and supports early-alert campaigns to promote successful transitions and sustained academic achievement.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead highly engaging presentations at new student orientation events and tabling stations at open houses and other events attended by first-year students.
Coordinate the representation of the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) through in-class presentations center tours and college or departmental events.
Implement semesterly special projects to increase the number of first-year students using the learning centers support services.
Support early alert and midterm student success campaigns including participation in call campaigns and other time-sensitive interventions.
Advocate for first-year student representation in strategic planning assessment and reporting.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned in support of organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.Salary:
