WHAT YOULL BE DOING
- You will be the subject matter expert for tax topics that relate to the entire product range of Trade Republic: securities crypto current accounts cards and more with focus on Germany as the main tax jurisdictions. You will also own the coordination of the Austrian tax jurisdiction.
- Work closely with our Product Operations and Growth teams to enable the development of financial products and related tax topics.
- Own product tax topics for our international markets supporting as a tax expert to enable our growth strategy beyond Germany.
- Drive tax changes improvements and requirements: frontend to backend.
- Ensure compliance with local tax reporting requirements for customers and tax authorities.
- Coordinate with our external partners including financial institutions service providers and tax advisors.
- Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republics existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- You dont need to be a capital markets tax expert we are looking for someone who has a professional tax background and is willing to deep dive into everything tax - with a passion for capital markets.
- Experience in the financial services / banking sector is a plus.
- Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly.
- German and English language skills are required (full professional proficiency).
