As a Officer Faculty Timetable you will:

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the academic timetable ensuring teaching space allocations support effective curriculum delivery and comply with university policies.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on timetabling processes and identifying practical enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Address basic timetabling queries from staff and students offering guidance on scheduling matters and referring more complex inquiries to relevant university units.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with academic and administrative stakeholders to facilitate smooth timetabling operations.
  • Gather and review timetabling data to support informed decision-making and resolve scheduling challenges.

To be successful youll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a technician; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in using timetabling systems within a university environment or experience maintaining a complex database
  • Demonstrated data literacy and proficiency in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail including the ability to apply these qualities in a professional context
