POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Designer will engage in all aspects of the design process from programing and visioning through construction as well as collaborate with all Kirksey offices on design and projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading the design process and involvement at all project stages.
Marketing design and research efforts of the firm.
Collaborating with other designers team members and consultants.
Actively participate in design discourse.
Leading project pursuits and responding to RFP responses.
Actively participating in business development efforts.
Manages time and workload of own work efforts and those of others to meet project task deadlines and commitments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional degree in Architecture
10 years of relevant experience preferred
Familiarity with Dallas code and design guideline requirements preferred
Excellent collaboration communication and presentation skills.
Outstanding design sensibility and graphic ability.
Excellent Organizational skills and ability to manage several projects in design.
Demonstrates an experienced understanding of building materials systems codes and technical strategies to enrich design solutions.
Proficient in 3D modeling Revit and Adobe Suite.
