We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Contracts Administrator Specialist to join our Contracts team. This role is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of contract and subcontract activities supporting all phases of the contract lifecycle and ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) DFARS and related requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills sound business judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical program finance supply chain and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead prime contract administration activities including proposal development contract negotiation contract evaluation and analysis of contractual documents.
- Support proposal preparation negotiation strategies contract administration and customer engagement to ensure alignment with company policies legal requirements and customer specifications.
- Review and interpret terms and conditions identifying risks related to financial exposure acceptance criteria delivery schedules warranties intellectual property termination indemnification and other contractual provisions; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare review and negotiate Teaming Agreements (TAs) and NonDisclosure Agreements (NDAs) to support business development and subcontracting activities.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract data within the Contract Management System.
- Make informed decisions under tight deadlines while balancing business contractual and regulatory considerations.
- Provide guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract execution and compliance.
- Perform subcontract administration duties including drafting RFPs and subcontract documents.
- Support all phases of the contract lifecycle from award through closeout.
- Manage online submissions of cost reports certifications representations and required registrations.
- Support pricing activities and assist in the preparation and submission of cost proposals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contract subcontract and proposal-related correspondence.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain contract files in accordance with organizational processes and audit requirements.
- Apply knowledge of FAR DFARS and related federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work independently prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize Costpoint for contract and financial data management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 48 years of experience in a government contracting environment preferably within the Defense or Aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience with contract administration or contract management across multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price Time & Materials Cost Plus Fixed Fee and Cost Plus Award Fee.
- Experience supporting Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements.
- Working knowledge of contract law and legal principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and support.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Costpoint experience preferred.
