Job Title: Utility Business Development Manager


Job Location: Munich or Nuremberg. Other Huawei office locations may be considered upon discussion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strategic key account management skills including large-scale project forecasting customer engagement and complex negotiations in the Utility-scale PV and ESS (Energy Storage System) sector

  • Identify develop and close multi-megawatt (MW) opportunities within Germanys utility-scale renewable energy market focusing on IPP (Independent Power Producers) Utilities and EPC contractors

  • Lead and coordinate with internal support teams (Solution Managers/Service) to ensure clients receive tailored high-voltage/medium-voltage energy solutions including string inverters and grid-forming technologies

  • Responsibility for achieving target fulfillment including long-term pipeline reporting and forecasting for long-cycle projects

  • Attend national and international industry events (e.g. Intersolar) to enhance brand authority in the Utility segment

  • Promote Huawei Digital Powers comprehensive Utility portfolio including PV ESS and Grid-connection solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Renewable Energy is preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Utility-scale PV/Energy storage sales and solution environment; deep knowledge of German grid codes (VDE-AR-N 4110/4120) and large-scale project design is a plus.

  • Proven track record of managing long sales cycles and navigating complex decision-making processes with Project Developers and Investors

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at the C-level and with technical experts

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills for high-value contract management

  • Fluent in German and English is a must.
