HR Business Partner
Job Summary
- As a strategic partner to the BUs the Senior HRBP will enable leaders to proactively build their people and talent capability and deliver the performance that enables the BUs achieve their business objectives and strategic priorities.
- The Senior HRBP will work closely with key stakeholders to drive colleague engagement and diversity in the BUs and enable a great colleague experience.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in the wider HR team the post holder will also play a key role implementing corporate people initiatives and transformational projects locally.
- Key Responsibilities
- Partner with BU leadership teams to develop and deliver the people strategy locally that will help drive and deliver organisational and team effectiveness and business objectives.
- Support and coach leaders and managers in designing and implementing effective organisational structures enabling the creation of teams and a work environment that underpins high engagement and performance. Ensure good people management practices are in place.
- Provide HR and project management expertise in supporting the development and implementation of organisational change including re-organisations cultural alignment etc.
- Develop and utilise appropriate people analytics to monitor effectiveness and inform business decisions; use data insights to evidence and recommend solutions to improve engagement performance and to manage and retain talent.
- Advise and manage ER matters. Proactively apply learning from ER cases to develop people manager capability.
- Champion and drive diversity equality inclusion and belonging (DEI&B) initiatives in the BUs; support the business to build an inclusive culture across all aspects of the employee journey.
- Work collaboratively with the HR Centres of Excellence and HR Operations to ensure alignment of the wider people initiatives and operations within local HR practices; work closely with global and local HRBP teams and play an active role in project work and the delivery of high-quality HR operational support.
- Lead and coordinate a comprehensive performance management approach across stakeholders working closely with the CoEs
- Assess plan and manage LGC talent with a focus on learning and engagement using global tools to deliver local results. Design and deliver training to upskill develop the competence and capability of colleagues and people managers to enable engagement improve performance and support the delivery of people initiatives and business objectives.
Qualifications :
- Significant generalist HR experience with in-depth understanding across all HR disciplines in the employee lifecycle; ideally professionally qualified
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally: demonstrable evidence of designing and delivering strategic HR initiatives; a track record in delivering quality HR operation services.
- Extensive in-depth experience in organisational design and development.
- Significant experience designing and managing complex change initiatives including restructurings culture change.
- Demonstrable in-depth experience in designing and delivering training and learning interventions.
- Can demonstrate sound commercial and financial understanding; good numeracy skills; excellent Excel and good all round IT skills; good understanding of AI and its application in HR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrable ability to influence at all levels; good facilitation and presentation skills.
- Is a proactive self-starter with an energetic can-do and engaging style.
- Is results-orientated with a track record of delivering quality work and projects on time.
- Excellent employment law knowledge; significant experience advising on and handling ER matters and collaboration with WC Bodies
- Can demonstrate experience analysing and using HR data to identify trends and people priorities.
- Experienced championing and delivering DEI&B initiatives
- Good stakeholder management and coaching skills; ideally is a certified coach.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization including ability to prioritise across geographies and local initiatives as well as balance priorities
- Focused on delivery with a clear understanding of KPIs and indicators of success.
