What the role entails

The HR Country Lead serves as the primary contact for all employment-related matters locally gathering feedback and addressing concerns to drive continuous improvement. This role prepares payroll instructions ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations and analyzes benefit trends to support recommendations and administer local benefits. Acting as the authorized HR representative the Lead manages audits government interactions and external stakeholder relationships including banks and insurance providers. The role also recommends and updates policies to align with best practices and local requirements and supports managers in handling labor law topics such as performance management disciplinary actions improvement plans onboarding and offboarding.

• Manages payroll and benefit documentation accurately.

• Recommends and updates policies to align with local and global standards.

• Analyzes benefit trends to support strategic HR decisions.

What we ask of you

• Experience: Minimum of 57 years in HR leadership with local compliance experience.

• Developing Others: Proven ability to support managers and employees.

• Agility: Strong capability to adapt to local regulatory changes.

• Culture Building: Experience fostering a compliant HR environment.

• Accountability: Track record of managing payroll and legal compliance.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement local HR policies.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with HR systems and payroll platforms.

• Leadership: Experience representing HR in audits and with stakeholders.

• Communication: Excellent skills for negotiation and documentation.

Preferences:

Qualifications should be localized to Sweden considering market norms and employment legislation for an HR Country Lead.
