Job Title: Residential Restoration Assistant
Location: Paducah KY
Department: Maintenance Division
Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt 40 Hours per Week (Not to Exceed 9 Months Seasonal Term)
Reports To: MOD Coordinator & Residential Restoration Specialist/Trainer
Position Overview
The Residential Restoration Assistant helps restore and modernize vacant housing units for the Housing Authority of Paducah. The role supports technicians and supervisors by performing general labor cleaning basic maintenance and repair tasks to prepare units for livable conditions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with cleaning and preparing units for restoration (sweeping mopping debris removal).
- Support technicians in repairing fixtures appliances and surfaces.
- Safely handle and organize tools materials and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicles and storage areas.
- Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Perform basic tasks such as changing light bulbs hanging blinds and replacing hardware.
- Transport materials and supplies to job sites as needed.
- Document work performed and communicated unit status to supervisors.
- Participate in training and development activities.
- Contribute to team efforts and perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to bend stoop climb and work in confined spaces

Work Environment
- Exposure to moderate construction-related risks
- Mechanical electrical chemical and environmental hazards
- Use of required safety gear and protective equipment
Employment Terms
- Seasonal appointment not to exceed nine (9) months
- May require alternate schedules or emergency response
- Work performed under general supervision
