Job Title: Accounts Receivable Accountant
Job Location: Bucharest Romania
Main Responsibilities:
You will manage Global Accounts Receivable reconciliation with customers perform high-quality discrepancy analysis and risk disclosure and support Rep Offices in root cause analysis and resolution.
Cooperate closely with Local Finance and project teams.
Handle AR reconciliations and contact external customers on a monthly level or based on annual plan analyze and clarify the reconciliation discrepancies and follow up their closure according to process requirements.
Assisting Team Leader and providing correct data for review and approval.
Prepare and provide high data quality reports/ analysis to auditors.
Perform high data quality analysis of the reconciliation discrepancies identify the root reason and disclose timely potential risks/issues to Management and Representative Offices.
Work closely with Representative Offices to investigate root reasons of discrepancies and then support the discrepancy follow up and resolution.
Prepare and publish reconciliation reports related un-reclaimed customers unresolved discrepancies and other related reconciliation issues.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
At least 1 year of relevant finance experience.
Relevant experience in dealing with AR business or invoicing process.
Strong analytical skills for discrepancy investigation and risk disclosure.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel is essential Word Power Point Outlook).
Ability to support root cause analysis and problem-solving.
Effective communication skills to cooperate with different teams/customers.
Excellent tasks prioritization and time management.
Ability to adapt and solve urgent issues and work under pressure.
Reliable detail-oriented proactive strong team player.
Fluent in English (daily communication & reporting).
Other languages are a strong advantage
Digitalization and creation tools and macros: Python VBA SQL Dashboards etc. represent a strong advantage
