Description
This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a supportive and collaborative environment within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum Family Medicine Physician you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care ensuring that our patients receive the best possible medical attention. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions conducting physical exams and working closely with our healthcare team to promote patient wellness and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in Family Medicine or a related field
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: 8a-5p
Patient Census: 20-22 per day
Daily Team Structure: 3 MDs 4 APPs RNs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
