Job Purpose
To support the engineering and technical execution of oil and gas projects by assisting in planning coordination monitoring and delivery of assigned scopes in line with safety quality regulatory and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare schedule and monitor assigned engineering and project activities.
- Support project planning budgeting and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Interpret client technical requirements and ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Identify engineering challenges and support implementation of practical solutions.
- Review technical drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with procurement operations and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor field activities and ensure equipment and installations meet required standards.
- Track project performance metrics and prepare periodic technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Participate in site inspections project meetings and technical evaluations.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from a reputable institution.
- Project management training or certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 25 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Exposure to upstream or midstream project environments is preferred.
Technical Competencies
- Understanding of oil and gas operations and project lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings including P and ID isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
- Familiarity with project scheduling and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or related engineering software is an advantage.

- Good communication and reporting skills.
