Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Safety & Environment professional who wants to make a real impact.

As our Health Safety & Environment Advisor youll help shape a strong safety culture across the site by providing practical tools guidance and support to our people leaders. Working closely with the Business Unit Manager youll play a key role in ensuring our workplace is safe compliant and focused on wellbeing so every team member goes home safe every day.

Youll also act as a vital link between the site and our divisional HSE team championing the implementation of policies systems inspections and this role youll lead and support incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective actions helping drive continuous improvement and positive change.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Implement and maintain our HSE Management Systems ensuring they are effective uptodate and aligned with site and divisional standards.
  • Drive consistent Health Safety and Environmental practices across the site by aligning systems processes and documentation.
  • Champion HSE Management ensuring our workplace meets all current HSE legislation and that safe practices are understood and followed at every level.
  • Oversee environmental management including audits maintenance and continuous improvement to support high environmental performance.
  • Guide and support leaders to ensure HSE systems are clearly communicated understood and embedded across all teams.
  • Support the Site HSE Committee fostering engagement accountability and a strong safetyfirst culture.
  • Support and advise on incident investigations corrective actions compliance gap assessments and action plans across the site.
  • Coordinate H&S training inductions audits and reporting ensuring bestpractice standards and continuous improvement in worker safety and wellbeing.

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role youll have:

  • Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety (Level 4).
  • 3 years previous experience in a H&S role
  • Strong knowledge of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) principles and requirements.
  • Experience using Microsoft Applications.
  • Clear and confident communicator (both written and verbal) who works well with others.
  • A continuousimprovement mindset with a focus on enhancing systems processes and procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and build positive working relationships across all departments within the HSE framework.

Desirable:

  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
