Job Summary

Key duties and responsibility:

  1. To plan and lead Shift Operation Preventive Maintenance activities and Predictive Maintenance activities toward achieving Zero facilities interruptions and facilities equipment reliability.
  2. To develop PM Master Schedule Checklist CM Work Order and all other ISO standards related documents. Submit monthly updated PM work order reports. Responsible to keep all maintenance activity and audit document in up-to-date condition as per ISO standard and other standards requirement.
  3. To define and develop clear scope of work for Corrective Maintenance (CM) program and ensure all CM work is planned accordingly to specification and statutory requirements which follows Bosch standards. To coordinate all CM rectification works with good planning.
  4. Responsible in operations and maintenance of site Fire and Life Safety Systems. 
  5. Responsible in operations and maintenance of site BMS (Building Monitoring) Systems.
  6.  To participate in all (CIP) improvement and cost saving programs attending internal or external training to gain facility operation excellence knowledge e.g. implemented Energy saving program and benchmark in Predictive Maintenance Corrective maintenance and expense reduction activities.
  7. To work closely with Safety Officer (HSE) in ensuring safety work practice is enhanced in the company premises. Manage vendors activities to ensure strictly follow Bosch guideline. To report out if vendors make any violation and address to Purchasing Officer (PIR) to take immediate action.
  8. Responsible in maintaining License and Permits relating to Suruhan Jaya Tenaga DOSH and DOE. Responsible to make sure all facilities equipment meets compliance requirement. Maintain all audit documents in an updated condition.
  9.  Work hand in hand with systems engineers to co-own site Predictive Maintenance (PDM) program which consists of Infra-red Thermography Vibration Analysis and Ultrasound activities. Do a monthly report out and share findings.
  10. Responsible to be an active member for FCM GENBA and 5s activities.
  11. Responsible to arrange facilities related safety line walks equipment health audits and other line walk/audit as required from time to time.
  12. To attended and complete any other duties assigned by the immediate Superior from time to time.
  13. Responsible to support facilities urgent calls or call back when required.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (facility-related discipline preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Facilities Operations Fire & Life Safety Systems and Building Monitoring System
  • Experience in building maintenance management
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting processes
  • Computer literate with strong numerical and data management skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across all levels
  • Independent proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Result-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong decision-making skills with good sense of urgency
