Job Title: Portfolio Optimisation Manager - Cards

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
We are looking for a Card Lifecycle Optimisation Manager to join our team in Hanoi Vietnam. This role involves planning designing implementing and optimising customer campaigns to drive engagement and retention for clients.
The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to gather and manage project inputs analyse data to form conclusions and recommendations execute and analyse results to improve outcomes including a proven track record in the payments industry eager to work with an experienced team. You should be result-driven as you need to manage a project workstream end-to-end and enthusiastic about working closely with clients to influence their future performance.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Understand the Clients current initiatives and priorities and align with key stakeholders.
- Develop strategies for activation engagement and retention by identifying focus groups based on product types and customer segments.
- Design and implement promotional campaigns and delivery frameworks with cross-functional teams including list generation.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and establish feedback loops and identify improvements.
- Optimise communication strategies including messaging timing design and channel mix.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for activation engagement & retention.
- Develop test & learn pilots and scale up for digital marketing communications utilizing Customer Cantered Design thinking.
- Enhance acquisition offers leveraging benefits platforms banks owned portfolio and merchants funded offers.
- Manage campaign budget track spending and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and achieve targets.
- Collaborate with marketing agencies (media brand PR CRM content) to develop and execute high quality on brand customer communications on time and within budget.
- Structure documents and project deliverables leveraging data insights and client inputs.
- Manage projects own all client deliverables and discussions including navigating complex team dynamics.
- Independently lead engagements seeking guidance as needed while ensuring ownership.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing marketing campaigns for retail banking or consumer-facing industries.
- Strong knowledge of the payment industry retail banking landscape consumer trends and regulatory changes in the Vietnam.
- Experience in credit card / debit card portfolio / campaign management with familiarity in marketing campaigns relevant software and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to drive execution and continuous improvements.
- Excellent project management skills as this role involves handling multiple workstreams campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- A desire to learn about our business and customers contributing through collaboration and proactive relationship building.
- Strong team orientation collaborative flexible with the ability to work in a matrixed organisation.
- Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to provide reliable insight into payment topics and your expertise.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills able to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Mandatory Skills:
- Previous experience within Banking Payment & Card solutions or the FinTech industry.
- Regional experience across Vietnam including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal and presentation) in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of payment systems digital platforms APIs system workflows security basics and industry technologies.
- An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
