Job Summary

The Senior Manager Brand & Sales Marketing is responsible for driving integrated go-to-market strategy and proposal development within the Health vertical with a focus on magazine and cross-channel opportunities. This role leads strategic positioning and packaging for client proposals particularly within the pharmaceutical sector and supports revenue growth through innovative brand-driven marketing solutions.

Working closely with Sales Marketing Editorial and other cross-functional teams this position shapes compelling narratives and scalable frameworks that translate editorial initiatives into high-impact client opportunities. This is a hybrid work position.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Develop and package cross-channel marketing materials aligned with Health initiatives

  • Translate editorial concepts into client-ready opportunities

  • Build visually compelling presentations and strategic narratives

  • Equip Sales and Marketing teams with scalable positioning frameworks

Proposal Development & Sales Partnership

  • Collaborate with Sales to shape client strategies and support key accounts

  • Serve as the strategic magazine lead within integrated proposals

  • Guide positioning packaging and client-facing recommendations

Brand Positioning

  • Create clear differentiated marketing narratives across magazine and multi-channel environments

  • Ensure consistency of messaging across materials and proposals

Cross-Portfolio Innovation

  • Partner with marketing and editorial leadership to develop new tentpoles franchises and integrated programs

  • Align solutions with client demand and portfolio-wide objectives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with editorial research product marketing activation and account strategy teams

  • Ensure alignment from concept development through market launch

Qualifications

Experience:
5 years of experience in brand marketing and/or pre-sales RFP marketing within a digital publisher or media organization
Experience supporting pharmaceutical clients and integrated proposals preferred

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of publishing magazine marketing and cross-channel storytelling

  • Proven ability to develop insight-driven proposals and go-to-market materials

  • Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills

  • Advanced presentation development skills (PowerPoint proficiency required)

  • Strong communication skills across sales editorial marketing and client audiences

  • Highly collaborative with ability to drive initiatives independently

  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
