Job Summary

Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse Manager for our surgical services department in Ocala FL. As the leader of our surgical services team you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of our surgical department ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and direction to the surgical services team including nurses technicians and support staff - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe delivery of surgical services - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes - Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements - Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources - Oversee budget and resource allocation for the surgical services department - Participate in the recruitment training and evaluation of staff - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and professional development - Serve as a liaison between the surgical services department and other departments within the organization - Stay current on industry trends and best practices implementing changes as needed to improve processes and patient care Qualifications: - Valid RN license in the state of Florida - Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field; Masters degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical services with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role - Strong knowledge of surgical procedures equipment and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team - Proven leadership and decision-making abilities - Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards - Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records systems We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
