Work Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Year Experience Minimum REQUIRED
Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports Blood Product Administration central Line/care management PICC line management Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone Post cardiac cath experience
Certs: ACLS

Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED AS NEEDED; potential to float EVERY SHIFT.
Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine Amiodarone Cardizem Milrinone Dopamine etc). Sheaths Pulls TR Bands Femstop
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): Pyxis EPIC SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Self Per the Unit Needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
SCRUBS: Not Provided. Navy
