Job Summary
We are seeking a professional dependable and detail oriented Veterinary Technician Assistant who takes pride in their work and values high standards of care communication and accountability. This role is well suited for someone who is career minded motivated to perform at a high level and interested in contributing to a well run veterinary hospital environment centered around our community.
Hassayampa Veterinary Services is a busy full service veterinary hospital in Wickenburg AZ seeking an experienced and committed professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident organized and thrives in a fast paced professional setting where teamwork consistency and excellence are expected.
Position Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Prior experience in a veterinary animal care or healthcare environment preferred
- Strong interest in veterinary medicine and a desire to learn clinical skills in a hospital setting
- Ability to follow instructions protocols and safety procedures consistently
- Willingness to assist veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care and daily hospital operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a fast paced environment
- Professional communication skills and a respectful team oriented approach
- Physical ability to assist with patient handling and routine animal care tasks
- Dependable punctual accountable and career oriented with a strong work ethic
- Interest in long term growth and development within the veterinary profession
Hours & Availability
This is a full-time position offering a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays.
Monday - Friday: 8:00am 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am 12:00pm
Compensation & Benefits
Our team members can expect competitive compensation. The starting pay range for this position is $18 $20 per hour dependent upon experience education and qualifications.
