We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team-oriented rehab department that values collaboration energy and patient-centered care. The facility serves a diverse patient population providing an excellent environment to strengthen clinical skills and support patient recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility strength and independence
- Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Support patients in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings
- Maintain a positive engaging and supportive therapy environment
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Passion for rehabilitation and helping patients regain independence
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility environment
- Willingness to work flexible rotating schedules (Sunday Thursday or Tuesday Saturday)
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy rehab setting
