Job Summary
Plan direct and ensure all aspects of integrated materials storage receipt issue ordering inventory container management and requirement definitions for capital project related materials are executed in a consistent manner globally. Oversee individual project materials organizations to ensure project objectives of safety scope cost and schedule are met.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the development of project Materials Execution Plans for each project outlining strategies processes and staff requirements.
2. Develop consistent reports of material status for projects.
3. Participate in logistics planning and execution including packing inspections and transit of capital goods.
4. Develop tracking controls systems to ensure efficient execution of projects.
5. Collaborate with Global Supply Chain leads to ensure compliance to site requirements and optimum utilization of resources and staff.
6. Ensure critical materials and supplies are accurately and safely stored and issued to construction personnel as needed.
7. Oversee effectiveness of project materials staff and report to project management improvement opportunities.
8. Oversee system interface (receiving storing issuing) accuracy to ensure compliance and excellent material accuracy.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of experience in inventory management systems & project management and analysis projects required OR
Bachelors degree in Business Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or related discipline and ten (10) years combined experience in inventory management system & project management and analysis projects required OR
Masters degree in Business Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or related discipline and eight (8) years combined experience in inventory management system & project management and analysis projects required.
