Job Summary

Summary

The Sales Engineer supports the sales teams and the reseller channel by providing product expertise technical guidance and training. Their responsibilities include addressing technical inquiries and engaging with endusers in large organizations to facilitate and accelerate product adoption.
They are expected to be SME with solid knowledge of IT systems cybersecurity technologies and the evolving threat landscape.

Job description

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Provide presentation of company solutions.
Conduct proof of value and proof of concepts assessments for customers.
Assist in deeper qualification of customer requirements and contribute to opportunity responses in the CRM.
Provide active signposting and contribute to technical success of a customers life-cycle.
Record and track activity with customer via CRM and provide technical feedback.
Complement resources provided by Enablement teams and assist Sales teams with enablement of the channel beyond basic demonstrations in person or remotely.
Keep up to date with industry knowledge and news from a technical perspective.
Develop and maintain testing programs/demonstration environments for company solutions.
Perform conceptual systemic creative and methodical activities.
Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.

REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study or equivalent experience or equivalent: CompTIA Network CompTIA A.

Full valid drivers license

Experience:
Years of work experience: 5

Knowledge:
Ability to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions; monitor and secure hybrid environments including cloud mobile and IoT; operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies including principles of governance risk and compliance.
Understand operating system configuration (Windows Mac Linux) - (Intermediate admin).
Can establish network connectivity monitor activity carry out hardening configure and troubleshoot infrastructure.
Understands Virtual Machine usage.

Able to present confidently to senior IT staff specializing in IT Security.

Knowledge of the main processes for identifying analyzing and managing security events
