Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement complex agentic solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves supporting technical decisions while ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to contribute to AI based initiatives that enhance deliverable quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agentic Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment.
• Support architectural standards best practices and reusable components across the application portfolio.
• Adoption of modern technologies and frameworks
• Support technical decisions work with coding standards and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders identify risks and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions
• 2 years of hands-on experience building AI/ML workloads or agentic systems
• Proficiency with LLM orchestration frameworks and agent architecture
• Proficiency with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar extensibility patterns
• Proficiency using AI coding tools
• Expertise RESTful services and object-oriented design patterns
• Strong understanding in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding in designing solutions for high availability scalability and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture

• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in cloud technologies
• Understanding of security protocols and encryption standards

• Proficient with front-end technologies React is a plus.
• Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain
