The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assessor to join our Timaru production team. You will be responsible for all aspects of our quality testing in our Fryplant including incoming raw potatoes to finished products.

About you

• Hold health and safety in high regard
• Be able to demonstrate your ability as a team player and have good organisational people and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel).
• Have previous knowledge of Manufacturing Processes Safety Quality (HACCP GMP) Warehouse Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to work on various unconnected projects; have a passion for delivering results be a logical thinker and have proven problem-solving skills.
• Be able to understand (and when required create/update) documentation in any of the systems mentioned above.
• Ensure that all quality systems relevant to the process and packing area are adhered to during each shift. For example accurate documentation; compliance with our food safety management system.
• Be able to work a rotating pattern of 12-hour shifts (Two days on 6.45am-7pm two nights on 6.45pm-7am then four days off)
