JOB TITLE:
Data Assistant (Work Study)
Job location: Berry Center 315 Physical Sciences 339
Pay rate or range: $13.00/hour
JOB PURPOSE:
Help with biological research and data management
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data entry filing sorting aquatic invertebrates and other duties associated with research and data management for species and vegetation communities of conservation concern in Wyoming. Many duties will be in a lab that includes sorting aquatic insects pinning pollinators and other invertebrate related research LT1. Chance for summer employment as biological technician.
COMPETENCIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: No experience necessary just a willingness to work and attention to detail
Other requirements:Must be eligible have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the Spring 2026 semester and/or 25-26 Academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
An interest in wildlife aquatic ecosystems botany and/or vegetation communities. All majors and backgrounds welcome.
