Database and Systems Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Database and Systems Engineer to be based in San Diego CA.

As a Database and Systems Engineer you will play a crucial role in managing and manipulating data to generate valuable insights and reports for our clients.

Job Duties include:

• Works under minimal supervision. 
• Performs system-wide/cross-functional team management. 
• Provides direction for projects. 
• Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies. 
• Project size is of high complexity. 
• Viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization. 
• Acts as a mentor to less senior IT staff.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Educational Project Experience
• Relevant experience in the field.
• Experience with MS Excel specifically the ability to develop pivot tables and use other advanced features.
• Data Management experience
• Under AECOM supervision ability to work with a wide range of clients and have interaction with clients personnel.
• Ability to work with various staff in a wide range of disciplines.
• Good oral and written communication skills with external and internal clients and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with business analysis business intelligence and related tools.
