PRIMARY FUNCTIONFacilitates School Safety and Security programs and functions under the direction of the Director of Safety & Federal/State Programs. Assists in implementing and monitoring Ki Charters comprehensive school safety emergency management and regulatory compliance systems. Provides operational documentation reporting and training support to ensure district safety systems and compliance processes are implemented consistently and accurately across all campuses. Assists with grants and assigned administrative DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in maintaining and implementing the districtwide Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and related development and organization of safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Coordinate documentation for required drills exercises and EOP district safety communications and campus alignment with established and track compliance with TEA and TXSSC safety mandates under Director required documentation for drills audits threat assessment processes and committee and verify data in TEA Sentinel and other reporting systems to ensure accuracy and internal compliance tracking systems and reconcile campus records with state reporting updates to state safety regulations and assist in procedural logistics documentation agendas and minutes for School Safety and Security Committee implementation status of committee recommendations as documentation and coordination support for Student Behavioral Threat Assessment (SBTA) with tracking training reporting requirements and Safe & Supportive Schools campus safety audits using TXSSC guidelines and track corrective collaboration between campuses facilities technology and leadership regarding safety-related with vendor coordination and documentation for safety systems and safety-related training logistics and maintain training preparation and dissemination of safety guidance and compliance in tracking safety-related grant deliverables allowable use requirements and reporting organized documentation to support audits and grant compliance with grants and safety allotmentsSupport emergency response efforts as other duties as assigned by the Skills and AbilitiesStrong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to of Texas Education Code Chapters 37 and to interpret regulations policies and compliance data management and reporting written and verbal communication to manage multiple deadlines and compliance timelines with minimal supervision.
