IDCs Taiwan is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven strategic Account Director to join our team in Taiwan. This role is ideal for a dynamic sales professional who thrives on building new business developing strong client relationships and driving revenue growth through a consultative solutions-focused approach.
While this role is not openat this time we are activelyidentifyingand engaging with high-quality Account Director candidates in anticipation of future openings. Reporting to the Taiwan Sales Director the Account Manager will be responsible for managing and selling to a portfolio of Hardware related IT Semiconductor ODM/OEM Technology vendor and Public Sector accounts. The role requires a proven acumen for selling a wide portfolio of technology research business consulting marketing services and eventsponsorships to senior level functions within these accounts.
WhatYoullDo:
- Sales bookings achievement in line with monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Business development and solution-based selling with a hunter mentality in the defined territory across IDCs products and services.
- Account Management of existing and new clients within the territory.
- Current and accurate sales CRM database updating in .
- Develop pre-proposals & contracts based on client requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that the customers needs are understood within IDC through the development of working relationships with clients and prospects.
- Plan and execution of a sales strategy to develop relationships and build account plans to identify and drive new business opportunities.
- Achieve goals with positive collaboration with all IDC business units comprising Research Data Consulting and Events Operations.
WereLooking for Someone Who:
- has Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. MBA is a least 8-10 years of external experience with proven abilities to exceed targets consultative sales along with strong written analytical verbal communication time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success working independently to sell complex goods and services to technology vendors preferably experience in Hardware related IT Semiconductor ODM/OEM and Public sector.
- Proven ability to build relationships at C-level and senior level within a company and the ability to set a sales strategy to develop new business identify new logos as well as incremental sales with existing clients.
- Prior market research industry or technical sales experience is a plus.
- Be able to communicate in English to manage multi-national communication internally and externally.
- Demonstrates strong written verbal and analytical communication skills.
- Strong understanding of sales fundamentals including prospecting qualification opportunity assessment proposal development and delivering client presentations.
- Relationship-driven with a consultative sales approach focused on understanding client needs and delivering value-based solutions.
- Builds and maintains a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve monthly targets across both existing and new accounts.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of client requirements and ability to take a strategic big picture view.
- Proven ability to engage and build credibility with senior-level decision makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications and . GenAI proficiency a plus
