AWS cloud

Strong hands-on expertise with AWS native services including but not limited to VPC Subnets NACLs Route Tables Transit Gateway Load Balancers Direct Connect Gateway Route 53 EC2 S3 IAM RDS Lambda EventBridge CloudWatch Step Functions etc.
Strong understanding of AWS architecture principles and the ability to independently design implement and troubleshoot scalable secure and highly available cloud solutions
Good understanding of AWS integration patterns including event-driven architectures and Lambda integrations
Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning including modular design reusable components and infrastructure unit testing
Strong hands-on experience with declarative Infrastructure as Code practices
Mandatory hands-on scripting expertise in Bash and/or PowerShell for automation and operational tasks
Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms such as EKS (preferred) or ECS
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with automated CI/CD pipeline tooling (Codefresh preferred)
Experience implementing zero-downtime deployment strategies (e.g. blue/green rolling deployments)
Experience in creating runners building Docker images and supporting automated continuous integration testing
Strong expertise with Git and Git workflows comfortable working in large repositories within mid-to-large product development teams
Solid understanding of secure coding practices secrets/configuration management and cloud security best practices
Experience in writing unit integration and infrastructure tests
Experience with cloud operations including DNS management backups cost optimization capacity planning monitoring/alerting and patch management
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production cloud environments
Ability to work independently within a team environment take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure components and act as a technical SME mentoring team members
