As a Vice President under Marketing and Communications for Southeast Asia (excluding Singapore) and Payments and Corporate Banking Asia Pacific you will lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies. You will work closely with business and corporate function stakeholders to deliver proactive impactful campaigns both internally and externally. You will report to the Head of APAC Marketing and Communications and play a key role in driving the firms reputation and business objectives across the region.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated internal and external marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive media strategies for Asia Pacific and ASEAN franchises delivering impactful coverage across priority media platforms
- Create and deliver high-quality compelling content including thought leadership internal articles announcements executive speeches and talking points for various channels including social media
- Manage and partner with multiple local regional and global stakeholders both internally and externally within a regional team environment
- Provide counsel and guidance to senior executives and stakeholders on communications-related matters including reputational risk
- Lead effective issue management communications
- Oversee the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns and events to support business growth and brand positioning
- Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communications channels
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Represent the marketing and communications function in cross-functional projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications media relations or financial journalism
- Proven track record of delivering impactful media coverage in top-tier business mainstream or priority publications
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality content in corporate and investment banking or financial innovation
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage confidently with senior executives
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver against tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Exceptional judgment and experience managing reputational risk issues management and advising senior executives on strategy
