Job Summary
About the role
For our company Progetti Srl inMilan(MI) we are looking for aFinancial Business Analyst (all genders)
What you will do
Use develop and maintain best practice financial models and analysis tools to evaluate new and existing projects undertake project finance analysis and sensitive analysis
Assist Project Managers with business case development for new projects providing investment analysis and clear recommendations and support on the preparation of Board and Investment Committee documentation
Manage financial tracking of projects against budget liaising and reporting to PMs and the management team on a regular basis (i.e. liquidity KPIs)
Collaborating with controlling department to provide liquidity report and analysis
Providing timely financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Coordinate with other departments and consolidate the inputs for the project valuations securing traceability
Maintain a detailed assumptions book for each project alongside a database of broader benchmarks to assist with cross-checking of inputs and assessment of outputs working alongside centralized services of Analysts Project Financing Corporate Finance and PPA
Work within a team to successfully execute Project Finance transactions and assist with modelling optimization and reporting on debt covenants and metrics
What Youll Need to Succeed
Relevant degree in Mathematics Economics Finance Business Administration or Engineering
At least three years of professional experience of business modelling and valuation techniques at a Big Four accountancy firm financial advisory company investment bank fund manager or in-house corporate finance team (experience in the energy sector will be considered a plus)
Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
Highly analytical thinker with a structured logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
Ability to translate analysis into practical and implementable recommendations

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail ability to produce clear reports and presentations
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deal with multiple transactions in parallel
