Shangri-La The Fort Manila is located within Fort Bonifacio a former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys high the complex is comprised of576 hotel guestrooms and 97 hotel residences and 98exclusive Horizon Homes the high rise building is a Manila landmark. The new hotelcomplements the companys five existing properties in the Philippines.
The mixed-use business residential and retail tower is located along 5thAvenue and 30th Street within the new fast-developing Taguig business district. It is a30-minute drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and is alsoclose to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club 10 minutes from Makati district the capitals financial cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.
DUTIES
- He/She is responsible for the coordination of the event selling and operations process including external and internal documentation preparation and distribution such as proposal letter letter of agreement or BEO etc.
- He/She is also responsible to assist the Events Manager or assigned Manager in all aspect related to events
- He/She will Ensureeffective communication with clients and efficient coordination with key departments concerned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Marketing or in the same capacity
- Preferably with at least 1 year experience in Events Managementin the same capacity
- Preferably effective oral and written communication skills
- Preferably has excellent organizational skills
- Preferably is customer-focused
- Preferably willing to work on weekends and holidays
- Preferably familiar with business writing correspondence standards
- Preferably has the ability to multi-task
- Organized and with an eye for details and is a team player
- Creative and innovative
- Displays initiative commitment and maturity to professional values
