What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation reporting concerns and requesting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings classrooms offices parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas observe for suspicious behavior and/or hazards and assist with traffic flow and/or event support as assigned by site leadership.
• Document patrols incidents and service requests in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
