The Role:Proofpoint is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to work closely with the regional sales teams. The commercial sales departmentis responsible fordelivering the most effective cyber security solutions through protecting people and defending data across all channels including email the web the cloud socialmediaand mobile messaging.

Role Overview:As a Commercial Sales Intern you willutilizeSales Force Zoom Info Linked In Outreach and other tools to increase the total addressable market improve Sales Force Integrity and generate genuinepipeline. You will work closely with Front Line Leaders and Account Managers to add new account & contactsvalidatedata accuracy and prospect existing or new whitespace.

Job Requirements:

Gather intelligence for the territories and accounts that you willbe responsible for

Completeaccuratetracking of data changes with current and potential customers in SFDC

Qualify andDevelopoutbound sales leads

Previousexperience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds a plus

Ability to build sales presentations

Attend sales meetings notating administrative action items

Experience working with SFDC or other CRM is a bonus

Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills

Previousexperience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment preferred

Create internal enablement content and collateral
