Job Description:
Pay rate of $19.941 per hour to start.
Locations hiring: Ainsworth Valentine and ONeill. Summer positions temporary until November 30 2026. Hours may depend on the weather may be more or less than 40 hours per week.

Job Duties:
Successful applicants will be under immediate supervision and trained to perform inspection on routine phases of construction projects. May use windows-based computer programs including Microsoft Word and/or Excel to keep construction records and documentation as necessary. May also participate as a member of a survey crew and perform tests on construction materials. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications: Coursework training and/or experience in math construction management and engineering. Basic computer experience.
Other: May require out of town overnight travel. Regular and reliable attendance is also required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Effective communication skills. Must have strong work ethic dedication and ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to safely move drag lift 35 pounds frequently up to 60 pounds occasionally (without assistance) and 90 or more pounds infrequently (with assistance); climb bend or stoop; work in outdoor temperature extremes and work around high-speed traffic. Must be able to be reached to report to work outside scheduled work hours for highway emergencies within 45 minutes of notification.
