KleinfeldersHouston Texasoffice is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join ourRed RiverCoMETteam.We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Performingtesting onconcretesoilandother construction materialsinaccordancewithapplicable standard testmethods

• Reporting verification of conformance toapproved plans and specifications

• Communicating effectively with clientssupervisorstechniciansand other design professionals

• Maintenance of Kleinfelders local lab accreditations

• Perform field observations and testing on materials testingprojects to verify conformance to the construction plans and specifications.

• Submitting daily field reports and data reports summarizing daily activities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience inCoMETor equivalent

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and ability to pass drug test

• Ability to work independently and as a team membermaintaincomposure and work effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities

• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to use acompany providedlaptop or iPad and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g.Word Excel Outlook etc.)

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Bend and liftup-to50 pounds (22.68 kg) repetitively and over 50 pounds (22.68 kg) using handling equipment (hand truck etc.)

Preferred Certificationsinclude:

• American Concrete Institute (ACI)

• TexasDepartment of Transportation (TXDOT)

• National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)

Education:High school diploma or equivalentwith some college preferred.
