Job Description:

• Work as part of a cross-function team to meet the needs of customers
• Work assignment complexity and responsibility grows with tenure of student employees
• Learn plant systems and operating procedures including the elementary function of steam powerplant equipment such as boilers turbo-generator units rotating electrical equipment heat exchange equipment pumps compressors fans etc.
• Perform routine operations assist in the operations of steam power plant equipment.
• Record operating data on log sheets and electronic logs
• Learn a basic understanding of power plant instrumentation knowledge
• Work a flexible schedule
• Actively engage in day-to-day activities

Job Requirements:

• GPA 2.8 or above.
• Computer skills- familiar with various databases as well as Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Must have good communication skills.
• Pursuing a degree focused on millwright machinist or Process Technology training at an accredited College or University.
