Principal responsibilities

This role will be responsible for leading all the technical design and embedding of a resilient solution as effective data platform architecture that is reusable and manages the data services for ASP
As key driver to support Group Data Technology Platform Architecture strategy across GB/GF/Regions with support through effective engagement across Chief Data Architects and business lines
Accountable for the definition obtaining governed approvals and rolling maintenance of roadmaps for in-scope products and service platform architecture with alignment on Data Future State Architecture. Responsible for the governance and design authority for the development of the products and services in line with the published roadmap and for escalations in line with the appropriate governance regime for deviations from that approved roadmap.
Ensure product architecture and solution designs reflect the needs of the enterprise and work closely with the Enterprise Architecture ensuring alignment with group architectural strategy standards and policies.
Work with business Architect and delivery teams to ensure resilie

Practical demonstrable knowledge of HSBC structure
5 years of experience in architecture.
A track record of making complex business decisions with authority even in times of ambiguity considering the potential long-term risks and implications Essential Technical Skills & Enterprise mindset including (but not limited to) GCP AWS GenAI Data Analytic & Visualization Data Virtualization Data Entitlement APIs
With good knowledge on Data Controls
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other engineers architects and business stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take a complex issue and break it down into manageable parts.
Experience in end-to-end product or service delivery from ideation to production is a plus.
