Payroll Officer – PartTime | 6Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6month parttime contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for approximately 1000 employees with a high degree of accuracy
• Manage the payroll inbox and respond to employee queries in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit monthly superannuation contributions
• Support payroll tax preparation for review
• Ensure SOX compliance and assist with internal audits
• Work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams to support seamless operations
• Maintain and update employee payroll records
• Conduct leave audits and handle adhoc payroll tasks
• Assist with payroll reporting and special projects
• Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Excel

Qualifications :

• 3 years experience in high-volume payroll (preferred but not essential)
• Australian or NZ payroll experience (essential)
• Exposure to global consultancy environments is a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to handle pressure while remaining friendly and professional
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication and email etiquette
• Enthusiastic proactive and detail-oriented mindset
