DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manager of Food Services oversees all operational facets and functions of the kitchen and food service department and patient care as it relates to meal service. Serve as a direct report for the dietary departmental employees.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Create well-balanced nutritious menus that cater to specific dietary requirements and patient preferences.
- Oversight of and coordination of all catering and employee and guest meal service.
- Maintains oversight of staff schedules ongoing training and new hire orientation processes and provide guidance on food service operations.
- Makes sure the responsibilities authorities and accountability of all assigned employees are defined and understood.
- Develops maintains or approves various administrative matters or materials such as budget expenditures or development operational reports payroll matters and personnel concerns.
- Assist with meal preparation compliance safety practices develop and monitor quality initiatives for the department.
- Maintains excellent client and employee communications and relations to continuously improve the quality of provided services resolve problems and facilitate the acceptance and implementation of new services.

QualificationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: 3-5 years of Food Service Management prior experience must evidence supervisory skills and knowledge of food preparation and quality control procedures. Basic computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting
- Education:
- Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses:
- Minimum Required Licenses: Serve Safe Management completion
- Preferred Licenses: N/A
- Certifications:
- Minimum Required Certifications: N/A
