What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical facility disturbances suspicious activity and/or requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns to report.
• Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances verifying credentials as required and directing visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and logs communicate observations to site contacts and support investigations by preserving information and/or observations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required per client requirements.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
