Job Summary
Your Opportunity Your Team
- Reporting directly to the Director Internal Controls. Senior Manager Internal Controls will lead the internal controls strategy for US and others markets by influencing change with Senior Management (Directors VP and SVP). This will also involve overseeing third parties and External Audit Team who support in SOX compliance. Additionally you will also be responsible for controls strategy for new systems/projects by directing supervising and influencing the project Teams in the organization and third parties. You will also oversee a staff member (Controls Specialist).
Where Youll Work
- This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester PA location several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: NJ DE PA. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What Youll Do
- Lead the Internal Controls Strategy (focused on business process) by managing change with Senior Management. This will also involve overseeing Third Parties and External Audit who support in internal controls testing. Manage remediation of control design and operating effectiveness deficiencies.
- Provide leadership for system implementations from internal controls and security perspective. As part of this role you will ensure the project team is implementing the required internal controls for SOX. Additionally you will be required to oversee the work of Third Parties that support the project. This will involve reviewing the third partys plan work products budget/time managing challenges etc.
- Talent management - Direct and manage internal controls staff.
- Perform annual and ongoing risk assessments following COSO 2013 including maintenance of a control register.
- Develop relationships with main business/functional partners to develop a deep understanding of the business relevant financial reporting risks and core processes.
What Youll Bring
- 7 years of progressive experience leading risk assessment and annual SOX scoping activities
- 7 years experience leading end-to-end assessment of controls across multiple business units
- 7 years experience streamlining manual controls
- 7 years experience presenting control findings and risk insights to leadership
