We are looking for an Internal Communications & Engagement Coordinator to support delivery of a dynamic communications and engagement strategy for one of the UKs most important infrastructure projects the Lower Thames Crossing. As the project starts construction you will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues to inform engage and connect a geographically dispersed workforce across office and non-office locations.

Further you will:

  • Support delivery of regular and periodic engagement events (online in-person hybrid) enabling two-way dialogue between leadership and employees.
  • Distribute communications across multiple channels to keep teams informed about programme updates milestones and activities.
  • Manage key engagement platforms such as broadcasts briefings SharePoint updates and information cascades.
  • Create and enhance internal communications content in collaboration with creative and digital teams.
  • Act as gatekeeper for internal channels ensuring content quality tone and brand alignment.
  • Support delivery of engagement initiatives including annual events surveys recognition programmes and working groups.
  • Manage promotion and analysis of internal communications surveys and implement improvements.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of delivering internal communications and engagement in a complex organisation
  • Experience of supporting development and execution of internal communications strategies
  • Ability to work at pace managing completing priorities
  • Experience of delivering in person and online events
  • Experience working with senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced with MS Office applications and internal communications tools.
