Job Summary

Unit Role: DPHC Infrastructure provides support to the DMS in delivering medical operational and business capability across the HLBs in support of Defence.
Position Role: DMS Healthcare Infrastructure lead for current and future medical infrastructure plans across the HLBs. Provide the DMS strategic oversight of Defence Healthcare Infrastructure requirements in support of the single Services basing plans UK and abroad.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the DMS Infra Team.
2. Act as DMS engagement lead on the future Healthcare Infrastructure Programme.
3. Manage and maintain progress towards a clinically compliant fit for purpose medical estate to meet the needs of the PAR in support of Defence.
4. Assist SO1 Infra (Operations) with the HQ DMS Infrastructure Programme Board where required.
5. Develop and manage the Organisational approach to the DMS Infra requirements to include DLOD support for wider optimisation.
6. Engagement with Internal and External stakeholders to include the sSs and CSOC optimising Defence solutions and cross OGDs e.g. Cabinet Office and NHS Estates to maximise wider Infrastructure opportunities.
7. Development of the DMS Estate Strategy internal Governance arrangements and Performance metrics.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver the DMS Infrastructure strategy.
9. Provide support to the SRO/Project Exec role to ensure delivery of DIO derived projects are fulfilled.
10. Management of personnel staff development annual reporting identifying capability gaps and training needs.
11. Provide Healthcare Infrastructure and wider Programme and project support and advice to the HLBs.
