- Temporary Full-Time until 31 December 2026
- Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
- $105077. Package includes salary ($84659 - $92701) employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
About the role
The Support Data Analyst provides a range of research analysis and administrative services to support the development and implementation of the Departments early childhood education policy and programs.

About you
- You have experience in using statistical software including R Python Stata or similar for data analysis.
- You have experience in working with relational databases e.g. Microsoft SQL server Oracle or similar and proficient with SQL programming languages.
- You have a commitment to ethical uses of data including an understanding of privacy data governance and data sovereignty.
- You have good research and analytical skills and good oral and written communication skills.
- You are a result driven individual who thrives on providing the desired outcomes.
- Capable working as a team member as well as independently.
- You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline including economics econometrics demography social science and/or statistics will be highly regarded.
- Adaptable with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check).
