Investment Analyst Renewable Energy IPP Sydney

A high-growth institutionally backed clean energy platform is looking for an Investment Analyst to join a small high-performing investments team in Sydney.

This is an early-career role with genuine substance. Youll work directly alongside senior leaders on live transactions M&A project acquisitions due diligence and asset management across a diversified portfolio of solar BESS gas and network assets in Australia and New Zealand. The team is flat the deal flow is real and the exposure to decision-makers is immediate.

The business is backed by one of the worlds largest global infrastructure investors and is in an active phase of growth multiple acquisitions in motion a significant development pipeline and a leadership team that includes experienced operators from some of Australias most respected renewable energy platforms.

What youll be doing

• Supporting transaction execution across acquisitions and project development coordinating due diligence managing data rooms liaising with legal technical and financial advisers
• Financial modelling and analysis across project and portfolio valuations
• Preparing investment materials board papers and internal reporting
• Working closely with the CEO and investment leadership on live deals
• Contributing across the full project lifecycle from origination through to financial close and asset management

What were looking for

• 13 years of experience in investment banking infrastructure finance Big 4 advisory (energy/infrastructure) project finance or a similar analytical role
• Strong financial modelling capability ideally with exposure to energy infrastructure or project finance
• Some exposure to the energy industry is preferred but not essential curiosity and commercial instinct matter more
• Organised proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-moving lean environment
• Sydney-based or willing to relocate visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
